Holistic Product Strategy

Maybe you have a goal for your product. Maybe it is increasing the revenue by 30% during next year. That’s not a bad vision.

Maybe you have a roadmap of ideas you will do to try to reach this goal. Maybe it is launching a subscription service, and maybe it is creating three new great tools in the main product interface, and maybe it is building a more focused app version of the product for a specific set of users, and maybe it is … maybe it is a lot of other things that the experienced stakeholders within your company have come up with. Those might be good tactics.

Neither of these will take you all to way to actually reach the business goal. You need a strategy.

The strategy will help you focus, it will help you decide if the vision is relevant and which of the tactics are important. To make a good decision, insights will be required, insights from for instance market research and user research. The insights will need to be translated into something actionable to be the specific strategy for individual teams to work on. And, these teams need to be supported, managed, in a way that enables them to help you make the vision a reality.

Maybe, after this training, you have a product strategy that will help you take the right decisions throughout the product’s lifecycle.

This training

This training will give you the principles and tools for creating, maintaining and leveraging an effective product strategy. It’s holism component will help you see whole chain from the visions of the broader organisation down to the motivation of individual team members.
